Alan Wilkis and Passion Pit
Our main man Alan Wilkis passed along his remix of everybody’s favorite Afro-Pop jam, The Very Best’s “Warm Heart of Africa.” I like this guy’s sensibility. He does a nice job of enhancing the original track and expanding on the party jam side of things.

Fun live performance of “Sleepyhead” in Juan’s Basement by Passion Pit. Thoughts:
1) I’ve seen them live once…this translates much better live than most laptop electronic dance music projects do.
2) The keyboardist who isn’t Michael Angelakos looks like Irving from Outside Providence.
