[Links] Stereomood and Musical Rooms

Two links I’ve enjoyed cruising around lately:

1. Stereomood is a site that allows you to select your mood and listen to pre-determined playlists based on that mood. You can also submit your playlist and attach a mood to it for others to enjoy. It doesn’t work perfectly; someone else’s idea of “Dreamy” might not agree with your’s and there isn’t an endless supply of music on the site, but it’s fun to play around with…more or less, Muxtape tagged for mood.

2. Musical Rooms is a blog dedicated to studio spaces of all kinds and answering these questions:
Why do we choose the spaces we do to tap into our creativity? Why do some people need the inspiration of a view, while others find a window distracting? Are these spaces only frequented at night, and are they somewhere musicians escape to with clockwork discipline or only when inspired?
Each post includes a picture and interview with a specific musician. Above is Barry Burns of Mogwai’s space.
