[Links] Culture Club - September 22nd

The guys from Holy Ghost! gave VBS a walkthrough of their home studios. The most interesting thing (besides learning what a modular is) I gleaned from the interview is why these guys haven’t toured yet: “We’ve been offered to do live tours and stuff and we’ve thought about it, but if we’re going to do it, we definitely want to do it right and make it ‘knock you over the head good…’” They’re on DFA, so it’s not a total surprise that Holy Ghost! thinks about touring this way, but too many electro and laptop projects don’t translate well to the stage, primarily because their purveyors don’t really think about it ahead of time (see: Jared’s Saturday ATP review) and it’s refreshing to hear an act of their nature discussing the importance of good live music.
