[Tracks] Moonface - Dreamland EP
We got an introduction to Spencer Krug’s latest project, Moonface, a while back when the Sunset Rubdown gang was trying to fill time before Dragonslayer dropped. The two song EP sounded like classic Krug, but less busy then Sunset Rubdown and definitely a lot less noisy than Wolf Parade. Just Krug in full story teller mode over a simple instrumental. In short, it was fantastic. Now Krug is releasing a new Moonface EP, Dreamland, as a completely solo act. Generously, Krug is offering the whole thing digitally using the pay-what-you-want strategy. Regardless of what you pay, it is worth it. The 22 minute song “Marimba and Shit-drums” is an epic by all accounts. Grab a short sample below (courtesy of IGIF) or just go pick the thing up.
