Hola Amigos. Greetings from Guatemala! It has been hard to keep up with music news on the road, but new music from The War on Drugs warranted a brief respite. I spent the last year trying to make Kurt Vile’s solo stuff fill the Wagon Wheel sized hole in my heart, but it just has not been cutting it. Finally, The War on Drugs proper have reunited to cut the Future Weather EP, scheduled for release through Secretly Canadian on October 26th. Wade in to the cool, cool waters of their first single “Coming Through” below, it certainly does not disappoint.
