- The fantastic photo/video-grapher 13th Witness profiles Rusko in “A Day in the Life” for Belvedere
- An upsetting story from Germany: HIV-positive pop star Nadja Benaissa has been found guilty of “causing grievous bodily harm,” after a partner of her’s contracted the virus from her through unprotected sex. Originally, she faced 10 year prison sentences, but the suspended sentence handed down today is for 300 hours of community service. There are some really interesting questions that have been raised throughout the trial relating to responsibility of protection
- Good news for our man Ronathan Breuber: Matt and Kim’s upcoming second album, titled Sidewalks, has a release date (November 2) and a label (Fader). Their single “Cameras” will be out August 31
- I enjoyed The AV Club’s take on mumbled, hard-to-understand vocals. Believe (and sing) what you want folks
- For those iPhone and iPod touch users out there in the US: here’s how to get Spotify on your device. I haven’t yet tried the mobile version, but the desktop application is great enough that if it were available in the US, I’d consider wiping my hard drive and paying the Spotify premium fee
